Alastair Poole b59c07ea33 mixer: name can be null w/OpenBSD. 
Without further investigation checking for NULL here fixes
an issue with OpenBSD, which is a bit "special".

Carsten Haitzler 9444e5d55d e mixer - add ability to monitor streams with vu meters too 
it's generic infra where you can get a general waveform (44.1khz
stereo floats per strea) for playback (sink inputs), output (sinks)
and inputs (sources). the emix gui will put a vu meter (actually it's
not a vbu meter - it's a peak sample measure over any frame period)
with a progress bar there. very useful now.

Carsten Haitzler af92895931 e - fix issue in emixer where sliders will not get disabled right 
recent changes to try disable sliders won't handle the slider list vs
single slider right - warning pointed this out so fix it right.

Michael Bouchaud (yoz) 1527599b78 mixer: Add cards settings into pulseaudio backend 
Summary:
This commit bring the support to set a profile on audio hardware via
pulseaudio. You are now able to configure the output of your audio
hardware via emixer without the help of pavucontrol.

This reverts commit fba185798c.

There is not even a description why you reverted it. This is a bugfix
that fixed a bug. So talk to me what the issue is, but please stop
reverting commits silently.

emix can still have wrong values from pa, and thus the value will jump
back and later come back to the right pos:

This lets the module decide what its maximum value is.
Everything over 100% is considered overloading. And is protected by the
mixer and the gadget.

this is emixer (epulse) from

the emixer binar is rewritten though and the emix lib is compiled-in
into the module and into the binary as oppopsed to a shared lib with
loadable modules. this supports alsa and pulse. a much more solid mixer.
