We have ported to Eo all the widgets of elementary. We didn't change the inheritance itself, only the mechanism, as done previously in Evas, Ecore and Edje. We removed totally the previous inheritance mechanism.

[elm] Welcome pretty widget hierarchy images on docs.

elm slider: Changed format function callback's const char * to char *.
...
The string will be freed in application's callback later. So 'const' is
not appropriate.
In elm_slider_indicator_format_function_set and
elm_slider_units_format_function_set.

remove eina_pure and eina_nonnull because really.. they screw up
...
auto-formatting scripts and i just spent a long time fixing the
results of one. the actual value of these macros is minimal at best
