Hi,

I am on efl-current and enlightenment-current from github, running on Slackware-15.

When one instance of libreoffice is shaded, and I open another instance, the shaded instance shows artifacts.

Please see attachmed clip.

Best,
kdato

Sorry, the clip did not upload. I can only show a picture of the final result. The picture shows the artifacts beneath the instance at the top.

github mirrors are not being synced anymore... so current would be from this git repo - not github... and current you meran last release or git master? looking at your blurry photo .. that looks like the old dark theme so it almost certainly is not current - well not current releases with the flat theme as default... ?

as for the display junk... ummm

you must be doing something else than open 2 libreoffice windows and shade one.... i also have a suspicion you are hitting some kind of driver issue. what driver?

also you probabkly want to file this under enlightenment/enlightenment not enlightenment/efl...

Thanks raster, you are too quick for me :)

Ah, I was on github indeed. Now I am on git.enlightenment.org. Deleted $HOME/.e/ and $HOME/.elementary to get E's default settings and theme. I'm still getting the artifacts with only two libreoffice windows running.

To crosscheck the issue, I tried under fvmw2. Not getting the artifacts there, which might mean it's not a driver issue (driver is amdgpu for an Radeon RX 560; the dark theme was a manual addon, from https://relighted.c0n.de/#100).

what driver?

driver is amdgpu for an Radeon RX 560

you probabkly want to file this under enlightenment/enlightenment

Sure, will do.

oh i now see what is in your shot. it's not garbage - its a shaded window. troug double-clikc the titlebar to unshade... it looks like it partly unshaded and that is the window content "squashed"

fvwm2 won't be a valid comparison as it doesnt composite or shade like e by squashing the window content into the title... :) how do you make it become partly unshaded?
