Would it be possible to add a transparency effect on the tasks-module so it fits in with the transparency the ibar/ibox offers ?

no need. you can do this in theme (create a custom theme and make tasks buttons look like anything you like).

if you use ithe default theme you can also use a custom palette to make the alpha value of task buttons translucent or invisible for that add an entry for extended classes (change entries) and look for /bg/normal/gadgets/tasks (a few of them here) as well as /bg/pressed/gadgets/tasks and /bg/selected/gadgets/tasks
