Tried to get E running directly under Wayland. I used efl and enlightenment from here, plus these instructions:
https://www.enlightenment.org/about-wayland
After running enlightenment_start directly from the Linux terminal (i.e., outside of X and withoug Xwayland), I ran into this issue:
I see the Wayland logo in the top-right corner of the center monitor (which is correctly identified as DisplayPort-0).
The left (HDMI-A-0) and the right monitor (DVI-D-0) continue to show the Linux command line.
E > Settings Panel > Screen > Screen Setup only picks up the center monitor.
I cross-checked with Weston compositor, also running it directly from the Linux command line (outside X and without Xwayland). All three monitors come on correctly.
Only one monitor works under Waylandto With three monitors, only one monitor works under WaylandYup. zero support for multi monitor. Not a bug - but a known limitation.
Ah! I see.
