Currently, clicking on the file manager's canvas resizes the file manager window. This is to not have blank spaces inside the window.

However, I am struggling with this as I have shaky hands. It means that it is easy for me to just miss the item that I want to click and instead click on the canvas. And so the file manager window resizes when I don't want it to.

To help with this, would it be possible to introduce a new setting, ie, "do not resize file manager window"?

Any thoughts?
