This changes a lot of things all across the EFL. Previously,
methods tagged @const had both their external prototype and
internal impl generated with const on object, while property
getters only had const on the external API. This is now changed
and it all has const everywhere.
Ref T6859.
When using smart objects (quite likely, isn't it?), the internal
layer usage count was not perfectly tracked. This was especially
true if layer_set() was called on a (top-level) smart object.
As a consequence, there could be no objects in the layer but the
usage would still be > 0. Thus, the layer was not deleted, not
removed from the inlist of layers, and efl_gfx_stack_above_get()
could return NULL as the layer above a certain object was empty.
Fixes T5201
The data class should be specified for debug purposes.
Also, this fixes invalid uses inside the smart object
implementation where it assumed that the smart data was part
of the eo data. It may not (legacy objects).
This patch introduces the possibility to set the pointer mode and
query other properties like current position per pointer device.
The old API will still works, however it will only act on the default seat.
This is a poor man's solution to get rid of group functions such
as clip_set, clip_unset, color_set, etc... See the following
commits.
This API needs to be EAPI for elementary but shouldn't be used
outside EFL. This is required purely for legacy compatibility.
Here's the call flow, inside show(obj):
1. if (intercept_show(obj)) return;
2. show(super(obj));
3. do other stuff
while removing children from a parent smart object, the destruction of
the smart obj encountered childrne with NULL parents. they were in the
child list but had no parent. This was totally odd and unexpected,
thus caused an infinite loop trying to dlete a child that won't be
removed from the list because parent is NULL thus it cna't find the
parent list to remove it from. This works around that and then
complains with an error. The workaround also seems to have encountered
what might be a compiler bug so I prepended to the layer object list
rather than appended. this at leats stops the hang.
@fix
i don't know for sure if this fixes T4103 but in theory i think it
might given a reading of the backtrace and a guess at what might
happen, so try this fix. it doesn't hurt and can only help.
@fix
Mostly unused vars following the removal of eo_do_ret().
However, there are some cases where the migration script got some things
wrong, and I had to manually fix them.
I just ran my script (email to follow) to migrate all of the EFL
automatically. This commit is *only* the automatic conversion, so it can
be easily reverted and re-run.
this adds a lock for when walking all the objects to generate render
commands for an async render. this allows even the object tree walk
plus update area caluclation to be moved off into async if every oject
that can change canvas state actually does so correctly. this change
adds all those lock block calls to synchronise with an async object
tree walk.
const have been added in object parameter of two legacy APIs to fit
Eolian generated files.
Since these functions retrieve information from object, it is logic that
the object would be const.
This fixes the infinite loop while deleting canvases with still
referenced objects.
The canvas should not assume it can get rid of all of the objects. Some
objects might be referenced. I also added a printf to let the user know
about it.
This fixes T565.
Evas_Common.h should be used for the public header, and rather rename
evas_common.h internal header to another name.
Sa:
Evas_Common_Header.h -> Evas_Common.h
evas_common.h -> evas_common_private.h
Shouldn't have both Evas_Common.h and evas_common.h because of case
insensitive filesystems.
I've tested make -j 3 install and it works nicely
I've tested expedite with software and opengl xlib,
and it works. Not tested other engines, so please
report any problems (engines or other) on the ML.
TODO: examples and tests, I'll add them later
ISSUE: Eina_Unicode size check. It indirectly depends on
eina_config.h, which is created at the end of the
configure script. So its size is always 0. I don't
know how that size is used, so I can't do a lot,
for now.
