With this new API the user can block movements on X axis, Y Axis or
both. I was left with no option but to come up with this, side by side
with elm_object_scroll_freeze_push(), elm_object_scroll_hold_push()
and elm_object_scroll_lock_x_set() (or
elm_object_scroll_lock_y_set()), once all of these will act on *parent
and/or child* widgets too, making those useless for any pratical use
of scroll blocking. Here's a sane, new option, enjoy it.
1. Do not need to print the same error message from all the widget codes.
2. Even though elm_widget_sub_object_add() can be used internally, there should be no error message at all.
Elm devs should fix it beforehand.
So it looks ok to print the error message in elm_widget_sub_object_add() to force elm devs to fix it.
3. Got additional code cleanups.
When the scroller is resized, the signals("elm,action,scroll", "elm,edge,top" so on) shouldn't be sent,
because it's not a scroll-action. So in this case, the content_pos_set should be called without the signals.
I attached new patch.
The old patch's default position and mirroring problem has been fixed.
I added new 2 APIs for supporting various notify's postion.
EAPI void elm_notify_align_set(Evas_Object *obj, double horizontal, double vertical); EAPI void elm_notify_align_get(const Evas_Object *obj, double *horizontal, double *vertical);
And below 2 APIs will be deprecated.
EINA_DEPRECATED EAPI void elm_notify_orient_set(Evas_Object *obj, Elm_Notify_Orient orient); EINA_DEPRECATED EAPI Elm_Notify_Orient elm_notify_orient_get(const Evas_Object *obj);
Please review this patch.
Thanks:)

Subject: [E-devel] [patch][elementary] access - activate widget
Subject: [E-devel] [Patch][elementary] scroller, slider - access
activate feature
the previous activate function just get object only. to activate scroller
or slider etc.. it needs more information. so the patch changed previous
activate(Evas_Object *obj) to activate(Evas_Object *obj, Elm_Activate act);
the Elm_Activate can be one of ELM_ACTIVATE_DEFAULT, UP, DOWN, RIGHT, and
LEFT.. you can add more if it is necessary.
I have attached two patches. one is for the slider and the other is for the
scoller.
this patch would support those who wants change value of slider or content
position of scroller on remote side.
this would be useful to the access side or voice control side also.

hooks.
The former is now issued for all scrollables, with the behavior it had
before, and the latter is a new virtual base function, with a default
implementation leading to values matching the old case where one
didn't implement the hook.
Please help me test if everything is OK -- it seems so, here.

We had an inconsistency of two missing getters, that would "leak" API
deprecation on specialized scrollers (scrollables). Putting them in
for good now.
SVN revision: 73540
Its API will be the the common one on ALL scrollable widgets, too.
Any scrollable widget having a function behaviour clashing with one of
the elm_scroller_* will be marked as DEPRECATED from now on.
SVN revision: 73309
using elm_widget_focus_direction_go function, focus will be moved from
the current focused object to the near object in one direction.
Direction can be set by degree(for easy usability). Degree changes
clockwise, i.e. 0 means UP, 90 means RIGHT, 180 means DOWN, and 270
means LEFT. You can select any direction by changing this degree.

but in modified version, the part names chaned to simpler meaning names to use.
i.e for button
elm_object_content_part_set(button, "elm.swallow.icon", icon);
-> elm_object_content_part_set(button, "icon", icon);
