Subject: [E-devel] [ecore] Recursive rm
I looked at the ecore_file_recursive_rm() function
(in ecore/src/lib/ecore_file/), and I wonder why this
is so ugly/complicated.
We are doing a readlink() and two stat(). Why not simply
do a lstat() ?
It takes less memory and it's simplier. Here is a patch.
(And readlink() is ssize_t)

Subject: [E-devel] [Patch] [Ecore] Allow to send SelectionNotify event
if there is no data from XGetWindowProperty.
The issue I want to fix is that elementary clipboard does not return
paste callback if selection does not contain any data.
Currently when ecore_x_window_prop_property_get function is called
asking for AnyProperty it returns 0 if there is no data (number of
items stored equals 0). This causes ecore_x_event_handle_selection
_notify to exit before SelectionNotify event is added and eventually
elementary paste callback is not fired.
My patch removes this condition and changes behaviour of this function
by allowing to add SelectionNotify event even if data returned is empty.

Subject: [E-devel] [Patch] [Ecore] ecore_file_escape_name fix for \n
and \t
Please review and consider the attached patch for ecore_file_escape_name
function, now it correctly escapes tab and new line characters.

Subject: [E-devel] [PATCH] ecore/ecore_fb: Tweaks in _ecore_fb_size_get
As the width and height are defined as static, no need to initialize it
again to zero. Also removed checks for 'valid pointers' as it is redundant.

Subject: [E-devel] ecore_evas typedef patch src/lib
the attached patch adds
typedef void (*Ecore_Evas_Event_Cb) (Ecore_Evas *ee);
in Ecore_Evas.h and ecore_evas_private.h
Ecore_Evas_Event_Cb is then used within :
ecore_evas.c
ecore_evas_psl1ght.c
ecore_evas_win32.c
ecore_evas_wince.c
ecore_evas_x.c

Subject: Re: [E-devel] [PATCH] scim-EFL immodule
I'd like to contribute EFL-scim immodule.
It will be useful to users who wants to input Chinese, Japanese, Korean,
and a variety of languages that SCIM provides.
When you run, you should set environment variable 'ECORE_IMF_MODULE'
# export ECORE_IMF_MODULE=scim

Subject: [E-devel] [Patch] Add ecore_x API for error handling
I added ecore_x_error_resource_id_get() api. It returns the resource
id that caused the last X error. I think it will be useful for handling
X error.

Subject: [E-devel] Small patch with ecore_con_url.
When I tested with elementary map, there is too many logs on console.
It makes me difficult to distinguish normal logs that I want to debug.
:'-(
It's libcurl's internal log for representing progress bar like this.

So, I want to remove this log.
And I look around ecore_con_url's code.
Then I found solution for it.

Subject: [E-devel] [PATCH] Add
ecore_imf_context_preedit_string_with_attributes_get API
This is patch for adding
ecore_imf_context_preedit_string_with_attributes_get API.
In ecore_imf, there is ecore_imf_context_preedit_string_get API, but the
attribute info from input method engine cannot be got from it.
After discussing rater, we decided to add new API.
Attribute infomation can be got as Eina_List type containing
Ecore_IMF_Preedit_Attr structure items.
In this patch, ECORE_IMF_PREEDIT_TYPE_SUB1,2,3 means the depth of
preedit
style.

This is an attempt to fix the epoll/fork() issue reported to me where
we end up with a single epoll fd shared between two processes after a
fork() in E.
I've tested with elementary test in epoll and non-epoll combinations,
and all appears to be well. Please check it solves the issue you saw,
and reformat the code as you see fit... ;-)

Lots of work on ecore_dbus
Hilights:
- get the socket address for system/session/startup busses from the environment
- can request/release a bus name
- receive method calls (we need to add a way to register callbacks for specific methods)
- send signals and method replies (untested)
*** API BREAKAGE ***
ecore_dbus_message_new_method_call() - the 'destination' param has moved to after the 'method' param to keep things consistent with newly supported message types and the param ordering in the spec.
