The new calculation mechanism does not only look into the exact
directions up,right,down,left of a node, it also now checks the sectors,
bound by: x < node.x, x > node.max_x, y < node.y, y > node.max_y.

This API is meant to be used by parts only, and by bindings dealing with
part objects. This patch fixes make check which got broken in the after
the previous one (cxx).
The c++ header was checking the wrong header guard. Fixing that would
break the compilation test, as it was doing the wrong thing. Also I
think config.h should not be included for compilation tests. This should
make things slightly better.
Summary:
Added some guards to avoid redefinition of functions.
Partially fixes T5866, as there is still the question whether we should
test internal functions or not, as stated by jpeg in the comments.

As Cedric told me, eldbus_suite now fails on this line, where somehow
the properties array contains 2 elements, instead of 0 as expected. It
seems that the change is not related to EFL, but a new package on our
systems.
With d-feet (a dbus inspection tool), I can see two properties under:

Has anyone a better clue what's happening?
I had eldbus_suite and eldbus_cxx_suite fail quite often for some
strange reason: name already in use... yeah but by who??? Turns out both
test cases used the same name, and when ran in parallel (make -j10
check) this would often fail.
There are multiple places in the code where both the padded item's
width and the maximum style padding (at the edges) are accounted for.
For the sake of making calculations for wrapping/ellipsis we should
only use the maximum style padding.

This fixes the C++ compilation tests.
list<int> is not allowed by eolian anymore, as the semantics were
unclear whether a pointer to int was passed, or if the int was stuffed
inside the list by casting.
ptr(string) is also not allowed as it's a pointer to a pointer type.
Both of the above types are strange when it comes to bindings. While C++
could probably be made to work, it's not clear we could have such types
in other bindings. Those types are in fact likely not so useful, as most
APIs can be designed around those restrictions.
elementary_config.h should not even exist. It's been hijacked as a
private header for elementary, but all "real" configuration is stored in
efl's main config.h now.
Summary:
Textblock's ellipsis feature only worked when text's width exceeds its area.
So, it didn't work when text's height exceeds its area by "br" tags.
This patch will do ellipsis when only ellipsis=1.0 is set.

This isn't meant to be installed. The canvas API in EO is based around
the interfaces Efl.Canvas and the widget Efl.Ui.Win. Anything else is
not EO (eg: ecore_evas, evas, ...)
Note: evas_canvas3d is the last remaining thing that is installed along
EO files, but those are all beta APIs.
Most of the time you need to retrieve the class from the string
anyway, so remove this relic of old Eolian and gain some small
performance benefits and extra convenience.
Subtly breaks API but everything should be updated.
Before screaming in horror (C++...) here's why we may need this:
Efl.Part.part API returns an object that is by definition valid for a
single function call only. Enforcing this in practice is actually quite
hard as all implementation functions must manually take care of the
life-cycle. This is a lot of code in many places and a lot of
opportunities to forget to properly handle that life-cycle. Also, this
means any invalid function call on a part will leak an object.
This API absolutely must remain either "internal" or "beta" and
definitely not become abused by applications. On top of that such an API
can cause great trouble for bindings like C++. As a consequence, only
specially crafted APIs like efl_part() should return an object marked as
auto_unref.
Alternatively this API could be defined in Eo.h or some other
Eo_Internal.h. I placed it in efl_object.eo because it's much more
convenient :) (read: I'm lazy)

Performance notes:
Tested with clang & gcc (with -O2), I had a look at the output of perf
top, in particular the asm view. I used eo_bench in a loop. My
conclusions are:
- EINA_LIKELY/UNLIKELY actually works. The jump statement varies
according to the expectation. I highly doubt all those ugly goto in
eo.c / Eo.h are even useful.
- The impact of auto_unref on a call_resolve is so small it doesn't even
appear in the trace. It is significant inside call_end, though
(obviously, that function is just a few lines long). That function
accounts for ~1% to ~4% of all CPU time. The impact of auto_unref in
call_end is ~4% of the function time. This means ~0.16% of all CPU
time (worst measured case). _efl_object_op_api_id_get simply doesn't
show up because of caching, so the extra check there is negligible.
PS: I also tested EINA_LIKELY/UNLIKELY by compiling with -O2 and looking
at the output with objdump. The flag is well respected, and the jump
instructions are what you would expect (no jump for LIKELY and jump for
UNLIKELY). Conclusion: The goto's in eo.c only make the code harder to
read...
Because of a typo in generator source (and overlooked error in
tests) we were previously generating incorrect code for setters
with the @auto qualifier. This was brought up in D5306 and is
now fixed.

If you call focus_set(m, o) where o is a logical child, then the focus
will go to any none logical child of o, or if there is nothing in the
children of o, then the focus will remain on the now focused element.
there can be cases where the call to such a function is never going to
be directed to the actual implementation. In those cases the FallackCall
will be called.
These types are of questionable value and the API was not entirely
thought out - remove for now, and if a legitimate use is found
later, they may be readded (with a better API), but typically it
seems best to redesign the bad APIs around safe containers...
This is a new type representing a mutable string (no const).
Regular strings cannot be made mutable with @owned because
they might be hidden behind typedefs.
Summary:
The ptr_null/nonnull were added in the 0.11 version of libcheck. The
required version in configure.ac is 0.9.10 (some distros still use this
old one).

It's a complex struct but defined in EO as a simple struct. ABI-wise
it's equivalent to Eina_Rectangle. Some macros that use Eina_Rectangle
also work on Eina_Rect out of the box, most of the code dealing with
x,y,w,h will require no modifications either.
But Eina_Rect provides direct access to a size or position 2d component,
as well as the usual x,y,w,h. The field "rect" is provided as a
convenience for code dealing with both Eina_Rectangle and Eina_Rect. We
may or may not require it.
Note: Size2D could use unsigned values but I have spotted a few places
in the code that actually use -1 to indicate invalid size (as opposed to
0x0).

This makes sure that the call to madvise is safe. On Linux it's not too
much of an issue as checks are made inside madvise, and the worst that
can happen is an error is returned (EINVAL). Not great.
But if MAP_POPULATE is not present, as is the case on *BSD, then the
internal function _eina_file_map_populate() is used for the populate
rule. In that case actual data is read and we should make sure not to
trigger a segfault or bus error.
Also, this makes sure that in case of HugeTLB we actually populate all
pages, rather than one page out of 8 (we were jumping by 16Mb instead of
2Mb).
Note: Can we get the size of a HugeTLB at runtime? We're assuming 2Mb
which might very well not be the case!

This backend has received no patch and maintenance from anyone who could
actually test it over the last few years. After talking with KaKaRoTo it
is best to remove it. If anyone want to take over its maintenance, you
are welcome to revert this patch.
This makes sure the object is actually still alive and kicking before
returning any data. Otherwise the "safe" word is a bit of an abuse...

it turns out to be very handy to have a interface for the moving and
border elements, that is unconnected to the way of how widgets are
registering themself.
This for example enables us to get a simple focus manager that just
redirects the call into a internal 2 dimensional data struct
Some names have not been changed, hopefully making a distinction
between legacy APIs and internal code (elm_layout_blah) and valid EO
usages.
This means many internal functions are still elm_layout_ as their
sole purpose is to support the legacy API.

This merges them with the now standard interface:
Efl.Canvas.Layout_Signal
Some wrapping work was required for legacy API which
takes no user_data in del() but instead returns it. The
new EO function, while harder to use, is more correct
(you can't delete the invalid callback by accident, and
this follows EO events design).
Another crazy wrapping was done in entry/text in order
to add the callbacks to 2 objects instead of just one,
and still return the user data.
As for Naviframe and Popup, those two widgets override
signal_emit to forward the call to another object than
the resize object, but not callback_add/del. So they
are definitely broken.

basically ecore_con's test suite was broken. ipv6 checks were broken.
you now need to set an env var to get ipv6 tested. using eocre_con to
detetc it didnt init eina or ecore_con and if you do init these then
the other tests that check return values from these fail... so make it
an env var if you want to test ipv6. now it's reliable and works!
Changes cursor handle name from 'Efl.Text.Cursor.Cursor_Data' to
'Efl.Text.Cursor.Cursor'.
Also, replace all usages of Efl_Canvas_Text_Cursor
with Efl_Text_Cursor_Cursor as the handle for the cursor.
Summary:
- when deleted callback is found _edje_signal_callback_move_last() is called
in order to pack match array.
- during _edje_signal_callback_move_last() index skips when another deleted
callback is found, but does not reduce members_count.
- this duplicates a remaining callback and calls the callback twice.
Test Plan:
1. add multiple edje_signal_callback by edje_object_signal_callback_add()
which have the same source, signal, func but different data.
2. delete first and last callback by

First steps toward explicit function pointer support in eolian.
To declare a function pointer type, use the following syntax, similar to
a regular eolian method declaration.

since rgb.txt has seemingly disappeared from systems we didnt parse
colornames (missing the colorname db entirely) and the test image was
generated using a broken missing rgb.txt thus colors were wrong. a
recent fix made evas find colornames again...
ecore_test_ecore_thread_eina_thread_queue_t6 failed often for me.
eina_thread_queue_wait() was returning NULL.
I believe this is because the test case ended abruptly without
waiting for the threads to finish. Indeed, both threads tried
hard to reach 10000 messages but it didn't make sense for them
both to reach this value, only one would end there.
This patch adds an exit message sent by thread 1 to the two other
threads, and all threads are waited upon using a single semaphore.
Note: This also renames some functions to match their test case
number.

This is a safe version of efl_data_scope_get, meaning that it will
return NULL if the object is not of the required type, or if there
is no data for that class, or if the given class was used as an
interface (and isn't a mixin).

Originally it was its own object.
There are some valid claims that there is no justification for it to
remain an object.
Furthermore, it's apparent that it added little benefit: changes of
each cursors, in practice, triggered a query for all objects of the
same textblock. There wasn't real advantage to have a finer resolution
of controlling the cursors with their own events.
This ports back a lot of code, and changes a lot of other code in the
higher-up widgets, such as Efl.Ui.Text and co.
The usage was replaces from:
efl_canvas_text_cursor_char_next(cur_obj)
to
efl_canvas_text_cursor_char_next(text_obj, cur_obj)
that is, it is an operations on the TEXT OBJECT, rather than on the
(now removed) cursor object.
So, one less efl object to worry about now.
Hopefully, the port went smooth.
This changes a few method names:
- freeze -> calc_freeze
- thaw -> calc_thaw
- update_hints -> calc_update_hints
Otherwise this is mostly about reshuffling the EO file itself
and changing documentation.

This moves all part_drag APIs to legacy and implements them for
EO using efl_part(). All parts now support these APIs, even if
they are not draggable. Making this more fine grained would
probably be much extra work for little gain.
This creates a new interface Efl.Ui.Drag.
Summary:
If multi selection have 0 column and delete the selection, 0 + 1 column also
deleted
This fix that bug.
Also, remove needless code.

Changing ck_assert_ptr_nonnull() to ck_assert_ptr_ne() in order to
require "only" check >= 0.9.10. ck_assert_ptr_nonnull() was
introduced in 0.11.0. ck_assert_ptr_ne() is already used a lot
in the test suite so a recent version of check is required.
This moves one enum from EO to legacy only (Ecore_Pos_Map).
Ideally the type should be in Ecore_Legacy and no Common, that
can be done later.

Since this uses generic_value (aka Eina_Value), there is an
implicit type detection and conversion. I did not attempt to
cover all types (namely string+int and string+float and even
less sets of those) as I believe they aren't really used. Or
they most likely could be replaced by multiple messages rather
than a single message.
Note: should we pass ptr(generic_value) instead of generic_value?
The API looks a little odd in C when passing by value.

Non-dirty paragraphs were not considered when recalculating the
formatted width of the text.
This could easily be reproduced with two paragraphs, getting the width,
and then updating only the second paragraph.

Escaping is not happening whenever any escapable characters is coming after
'\t' or '\n'. It will also fix invalid read of 1 byte which happens for string where
last charachter is '\t' or '\n' like "eina\t".
Test Plan:
Take a string like "eina\t ". Observe space which is followed by tab is not getting
escaped.

We don't need to keep this in eo files anymore because the APIs
using them are now fully in C. This also allows removal of the
event callback builtin from Eolian.
The Efl.Ui.Focus.Manager abstracts the creation of a localization graph
and a logical tree. The localization graph is used to find a object
right left up or down of a given object. The logical tree is used to
iterate throuw the containers which are used to build a ui.
Those managers can be used bound to some layer in the ui, so for
example the window is a layer, the content of a scroller is a layer.
With those layers, we can make sure that movements of a scroller for
example just means that this graph of objects in the scroller needs to
be recalculated, and not the complete ui.
The advantage of having this to layer bound datastructures is that you
can easily debug those graphs, since the complete layer of this
managerobject can be calculated completly.
This is similar to efl_super but the specified class is the one
we want to call the function on. This is similar to dynamic_cast<>
in C++.
Note: both efl_super() and efl_cast() need documentation!

If you define either the macro MY_CLASS_EXTRA_OPS for normal
methods/properties or MY_CLASS_EXTRA_CLASS_OPS for class methods
or properties, which contains a comma-delimited list of ops defs
(i.e. EFL_OBJECT_OP_FUNC(...), ...) right before including the
generated my_class.eo.c file, the definitions from these will
be included in the actual class. This can be used to override
certain things in a class internally without exposing it to
Eolian, or for testing/debugging.
webp has slightly change since we registered this test and even if the
output is visually still close, as we do a perfect pixels comparison,
we are impacted by the slightest change. It would be nice to introduce
a function that does a more fuzzy comparison.

I believe that all the threads created in our test suite should
be spawned without any special CPU affinity. The default parameter
is not 0 (corresponds to the first CPU, known as CPU 0) but -1.
Similarily the default priority is NORMAL (1), not 0 (URGENT).
This also affects two unused code paths: evas render2 and gl preload.

This fixes issues where Evas_Object_Intercept_Cb_Type was not
defined, as this is defined in Evas_Legacy.h (unfortunately...
as it's used by elementary), but the private headers defining
EFL_CANVAS_OBJECT_PROTECTED were included after Evas_Legacy.h.
