SVN revision: 2391
Attempting to put together a GNOME-friendly rpm of 0.16.4. This will be
separate and differently named from the normal rpm.
There's nothing yet, just some config alterations, I'll tie these in
shortly. The idea is that when people using RH6.2 come to e-develop asking
for bugfixes we already did, we can give them the URL for an rpm they can
install.
In order to make things work together in the way RHAT seem to want, I have
toggled off a few things here. Included are:
o No remember dialog (it's there, but not in the WinOps menu
o No background selector (gmc likes to do this)
o No iconbox by default (although you can create one)
o No multiple desktops by default (4 virtuals instead)
o No pager by default (although you can toggle it on)
I am sorely tempted to build some kind of "Crippled for GNOME [tm]" logo to
stick in the about box, but I don't think I'll go that far =)
And all this from someone who doesn't even *use* GNOME *or* Redhat =)
Hopefully I won't have to alter makefiles for this. I should be able to
script it into the .spec instead. We'll see.

added xinerama support for maximizing windows. They'll stay on the current
had unless you use the "absolute" option, which means you want as much space
as possible

more xinerama support. This time settings dialogs pop up centered on the
current head if there isn't a settings dialog already open.
Next - edge resistance between heads.

slightly better arranger code for XINERAMA - this should ALSO fix a couple of
KDE arranger problems that people reported, too.
SVN revision: 2334

This is still slightly hacking xinerama support - needs some more work.
some things will still pop up inbetween heads, but for the most part windows
will pop up on the head that is currently focused and will pop up without
going between heads.

Another fine patch from Marius Eriksen <marius@linux.com>. Gives windows the
focus when they are cycled through in the focuslist. Enabled by default, as
it's nice behaviour, but toggleable of course =)

Fixed a bug where the winops menu always appeared at the top of the screen,
if "keep menus onscreen" was selected.
At some point, the menu location calcs ended up before the XQueryPointer, so
uninitialised values were being used.

This *should* prevent windows set to skip_winlists from appearing in the gnome
pager and other such gnomey things. Could someone who use the gnome-pager
applet test it for me?
This doesn't break the gnome wm-spec does it?

minor update to tell you that xinerama is not active on your box if it isn't
turned on but you have xinerama support in your server.

redoing libXinerama support. If you use xinerama, try using the "xinerama"
command. ALSO - you have to make sure you installed libXinerama.a in the
right place as well as Xinerama.h -- still lots more hacking to do (trying to
do a cleaner implementation than my last hack)

Well, I'm committing the area wraparound stuff, since people
keep asking me for updated versons of the patch. I've moved
the config option to the areas dialog, where it fits better.
Feel free to revert if this is inappropriate.

I found the problem in icccm.c. For some reason, somebody thought it
would be a good idea to set minimum width/height equal to the base
width/height if no *maximum* size was specified. I think they meant to
check for *minimum* size. Anyway, I fixed that and added a more robust
check for that kind of thing.

Another patch from Marius Aamodt Eriksen <marius@linux.com>. Adds the
option to include iconified windows in the focuslist and uniconify them on
selection. Flim.

Patch from Marius Aamodt Eriksen <marius@linux.com>. Provides option to
include shaded windows in focuslist. Now all we need is an "include
iconified windows" option...
