Use delete callback instead of direct call to clip_unset,
which lets us know that clip_unset() is called during the
clipper's deletion, as opposed to a simple call.
We can then make sure that the previous object state does
not point to invalid data anymore.
Here is a scenario that could have crashed:
- load and show an edje object, hide it
- change its theme or style
- show it again

It adds evas_object_paragraph_direction_set, get APIs.
The APIs set or get paragraph direction to/from the given object.
It changes BiDi calculations and affect the direction and aligning of text.
It doesn't have any effect to text without Fribidi library.
The default paragraph direction is EVAS_BIDI_DIRECTION_INHERIT.
If dir is EVAS_BIDI_DIRECTION_INHERIT, paragraph direction is changed
according to smart parent object. If there is no smart parent object,
paragraph direction works as EVAS_BIDI_DIRECTION_NEUTRAL.

While cached surfaces is a topic we're discussing recently,
this code is dead right now, and we will have to redesign the
buffer caching better to handle proxies, maps, smart objects, etc...
Evas_Object_Filter_Data has a bool for 'async' at the end of the
struct. This field was missing from the initialization of
'default_state'

This should theorically work, need some test. Design is easy to understand. Render
every part of a snapshot object by rendering the content below it, before rendering
the stack above it using that object content.
Those two functions were doing exactly the same thing[1], which
is free an image, so this commit only attempts to simplify the code
a little bit.
[1] Actually image_map_surface_free() might even not have worked
properly with cserve2 sw (calling unload instead of close).
Otherwise there would be conflicts in certain circumstances.
This also requires adding const on many existing functions,
and similar work is necessary in Elementary.

Deep down internally there was already a name, but no API could
really set it properly.
Here Edje will set the name of the filter based on the part name
or the data item name if relevant.
This creates the new interface
Efl.Gfx.Filter
And the implementation is a mixin (evas_filter_mixin.c):

All the filter rendering code has now been moved to this
new file. TODO: Merge image filtering.
Summary:
As we always call evas_object_inject in every Evas Object's ctcor,
it seems sensible to move this repeated bit of code to the super
(Evas.Object).

This is another cleanup in perparation for the Eo stable release.
This is no longer needed thanks to the proper error reporting with
eo_constructor()'s new return value.
The finalizer change cleans it up a bit so it catches more cases/issues.
This also means that the finalizer cleans up the object in all cases,
and not only some.

From now on, constructors should return a value, usually the object
being worked on, or NULL (if the constructor failed). This can also
be used for implementing singletons, by just always returning the same
object from the constructor.
This is one of the final steps towards stabilizing Eo.

It seems like before the switch to Eo, all the object_*_add functions
had magic checks that only allowed non NULL Evas pointers to be passed.
Since we switched to Eo we apparently missed the early failure we used
to have, and we instead fail later. This patch should fix that.

this adds a lock for when walking all the objects to generate render
commands for an async render. this allows even the object tree walk
plus update area caluclation to be moved off into async if every oject
that can change canvas state actually does so correctly. this change
adds all those lock block calls to synchronise with an async object
tree walk.
Yeah, mixing maps and masks of masks in a genlist leads
to tons of amazing bugs :)
This commit removes x,y from the "mask" field in an object,
as they are duplicates of cur->geometry.{x,y} but were not
properly kept in sync.
This patch fixes a situation of:
- A genlist in a map
- Each item has an icon masked
- Scrolling the genlist
--> The masked items would not render properly before this
patch.
Remaining known problem:
- Mask a genlist (big mask)
- Each item has an icon masked (small mask)
- Apply a map to the genlist
- Scrolling the genlist
--> The big mask still works but totally screws up the
small icons with masks.
Note: These changes look scary just before the release
but I would have to backport them to 1.13.x as they
definitely are bug fixes. Also, they only concern
code paths used exclusively by masking.
The memory usage graph was going up and to the right!
I was told this is always a good thing!
... maybe not this time :)
Hopefully I didn't forget a case. An intense session of
genlist scrolling with masks all over the place and masks
of masks didn't show any glitch, crash or memory leak.
The main difference between 1.12 and 1.13 memory foot print is actually
related to this two pointer to mask. I am wondering if there is not an
issue here also has we do have a duplicated pointer. We have prev_mask
and mask in both cur and prev state of an Evas_Object, but only mask
and prev_mask from the cur state seems to be accessed.
If we can remove two pointers from those state, we should have a decent
win in expedite benchmark. Hopefully 300KB to win there (Close to half
the additional cost in memory).

We'll need a new function (after 1.12) to detect if the current
cow pointer is the default data or not. Maybe eina_cow_default_get()
or maybe something just returning a bool.
Eina_Cow does memory comparison during standby time. So in expedite as we don't
have any standby time, we end up allocating some vast amount of memory that
will never be compared. It is way simpler to compare that the data are not
going to change before hand. It should also reduce the CPU consumed during
idle time.
This patch save about 1MB of data at peak time in expedite.
Before this change eo_add() used to create an object with 1 ref, and if
the object had a parent, a second ref.
Now, eo_add() always returns an object with 1 ref, and eo_add_ref()
preserves the old behaviour (for bindings).
eo_unref now un-parents if refcount is 0, and eo_del() is an alias for
eo_unref (will change to be a way to ensure an object is dead and goes
to zombie-land even if still refed).
Summary: Fix not to clean and re-render if the position of an object enabled map is changed.

Enable 3D features using --enable-evas-3d=yes when configuring.
APIs are exposed through Evas_3D.h.
Currently, evas-3d is being supported only on gl_x11 engine.

const have been added in object parameter of two legacy APIs to fit
Eolian generated files.
Since these functions retrieve information from object, it is logic that
the object would be const.
Clipees can be cleared before the loop is finished because
evas_object_clip_unset calls smart function of clip_unset.
So, if we use EINA_LIST_FOREACH_SAFE, invalid next list pointer
can be kept and read after obj->clip.clipees is freed.

EINA_LIST_FREE does eina_list_remove_list, and clip_unset does
the same thing to the same list pointer. So, EINA_LIST_FOREACH_SAFE
is proper for this case.
Proxy sources & objects were not properly unset.
This results either in crashes (especially in the Edje tests)
or dangling objects with tons of references.
Remove the refcount increase/decrease, as it is redundant.
Store pairs proxy+source instead of just the source in all hashes,
so we can unset the is_proxy flag on the proxy when there are no
sources anymore.
for more gurantee to update map properly,
we should reset the map changed flag after the map updation is performed.
this will fix a mapbuf bug that map is not updated.
when the map is changed without rendering but it's in the active object list,
the map updation couldn't be happened later that map is rendered. (if the map is not updated at this frame)
This means unref will really free the object instead of just let it
linger in memory once the object is unrefed.
This is also correct because once detached from the canvas, Evas has
nothing to do with the object and it shouldn't need the manual free
anymore.

This commit was making the code much more complex than required. Let's make
eina_cow_free set the value back to its default.
many valgrind complaints on e shutdown are there regarding accessing
cow sections, lists and object elements during shutdown. this plugs
theses little holes to avoid the invalid accesses and thus avoids
potential crashes.

This is a bad idea for now, as we need to mark some more events as hot
(including compat generated ones) before doing it.
Instead of moving the objects by adding the framespace offset to them,
use this offset when rendering them. This way there's no change in the
object's geometry/position, it works correctly with map, and will be
automatically updated in case that the framespace values change (for
instance if one sets a window to borderless).
There are 2 main places where changes were needed:
- output redraws, when they come from an object being changed, must be
add the framespace offset to their damaged area;
- checks to see if the object is inside a given rendering area, must
also add this offset, since the object is actually being rendered on
a different position;
Eina value type does not support pointer so I used int as of now.
This needs to be converted into hexa later.
By using Clouseau, one can see this Clipper information.
This check makes no sense, since objects can be on outside of the
screen, with negative position, but they still need to be adjusted by
the framespace offset.
- mark all children of a given smart object as "is_frame" if the smart
object is also marked as a frame;
- when moving a smart object, use the originally requested move
coordinate to calculate the offset that the children should be moved
too;
- _smart_move_children_relative will fetch the child position with
geometry_get(), this way getting the corrected object position, before
adding the offset.
Introduce a new function called evas_object_content_change(). It should
be used when object contents get changed.
The rendering issue involving text objects was due to its map surfaces
not being freed. Thus, evas_object_content_change() is now called in
evas_object_text_text_set() during the relayout of the text for making
sure to get their map surfaces freed before rendering them.

From now, classes implementing the Eo function with id
EO_BASE_SUB_ID_DBG_INFO_GET will be able to show in Clouseau their own
specific information.
Information contents is controlled by the class itself and no more
by Clouseau. Basic types and lists are supported..

Expedite biggest test memory win 100KB, average 10KB.
No slow down in proxy test (+/-3%). Speed up in most other
case (average speed up is +5%), likely due to much more
cache hit.
Elementary test show a win between 100KB to 600KB depending
on the test you are considering.
Now, you can see how I intend to use Eina_Cow and the expected
win we can have from it. I don't intend to do more for the
rest of the week so you have time to comment.

I've tested make -j 3 install and it works nicely
I've tested expedite with software and opengl xlib,
and it works. Not tested other engines, so please
report any problems (engines or other) on the ML.
TODO: examples and tests, I'll add them later
ISSUE: Eina_Unicode size check. It indirectly depends on
eina_config.h, which is created at the end of the
configure script. So its size is always 0. I don't
know how that size is used, so I can't do a lot,
for now.
