Looking deeper at viewnior (simple image viewer used by default in Elive), there's a few features that may be interesting to look at for entice:

  • zoom feature (if not already included)
  • able to delete images (there's a confirm option too)
  • slideshow mode
  • Menus with options? (that's elementary so maybe could be nice to have
  • Open with (list of applications to open with, like gimp, photivo, etc..)
  • flip / rotate (already included?)
  • crop feature (I think could be better to be able to select a region and have some options like: crop, copy, etc...)

zoom and rotation are supported
i don't want to add a menu (File, Edit, View etc...) which will takes place. Entice displays images, not menu.
delete : it's planned
flip, i don't know, maybe
magnifier, maybe
other features, i don't know yet

about "Open with (list of applications to open with, like gimp, photivo, etc..)", actually, i don't know how to do that. If you have some hints, i would be glad to implement this

That should be related to Efreet, maybe there's some function that simply list the available .desktop applications compatible for a specific mimetype 🤔
