Eolian @properties should be documented at the property level, and
documentation at the setter or getter level should be left to setter-
or getter-specific comments. There is usually no need at all to have
setter- or getter- specific comments.
Also, a property is not a method so descriptions should match that.
This patch removes lots of duplicated text, and will allow enabling
by default the eolian check that ensures that properties have proper
property-level docs.
No functional changes.
the problem here is that we might subscribe to an event before
evas_object_callbacks_init has happened. This sounds like something
which might not happen. However, with the interfaces project this
definitly will start to happen because someone will some day overwrite
the evas object and do something before the constructor, which will not
raise a error or something but will simply just not work.
With this commit we are not listening to the event callbacks via event
emission but rather via inheritance. With this there is no "earlier than
we listend" point, and the issue in the task is solved by itself.

Summary:
When a map property is changed, map draws it.
Before drawing, evas_object_map_update updates map->spans which is data for
actual drawing. But if changed_map is false, then evas_object_map_update does
not update map->spans.
Usually mapped object has following step.
(1) change map data (evas_map_point_coord_set)
(2) render_pre
(3) evas_object_map_update updates map->spans if changed_map is true.
(4) render
(5) render_post -> evas_object_cur_prev -> "map->prev = map->cur"
But if mapped object hides at step(1), then step(3),(4) does not happen. But
step(4) map->prev keeps changed map data. After this point, If same map data
comes, then map does not draw it. Because the new data is same with map->prev.
The issue occurs with following step.
(A) point_coord_set with point A.
(B) (2)(3)(4)(5) works.
(C) point_coord_set with point B. And hide.
(D) (2)(5) wokrs.
(E) point_coord_set with point A. still hide, so none of (2)(3)(4)(5) work.
(F) point_coord_set with point B. And show.
(G) (2)(3)(4)(5) works. BUT step(3) does not update map->spans because
changed_map is false. So you can see image of point A.
The changed_map is changed to false after updating map->spans at step(3).
So usually changed_map is false before deciding changed_map of next render.
In case of not rendering (but render_pre/post) after map data is changed, the
changed_map keeps true. So this patch was suppose to make changed_map
false if changed_map is already ture before _evas_map_calc_map_geometry
decides changed_map which occurs step(1). true changed_map indicates that
you need to draw even though new map data is same with previous map data.

any time an evas box is moved, it flags itself to do a recalc on all of
its contents in the next render. evas box also inherits from smart clipped
class, however, which means that it will also move all of its contents
immediately on every single move. this results in something like:
move(box) -> for content in box { move(content) } -> render ->
recalc(box) -> for content in box { calc(content); move(content); }
which is massively inefficient and results in box being completely unusable
once it has a large number of contents

This is the first step into introducing support for Android 9 patch
format (extension: .9.png). The principle is to expose a new property
on image object that define a complete behavior incompatible with other
border and fill logic. The reason is that 9 patch allow for any number
of stretchable area inside an image, not just for each corner. The way
to define this is by giving a pointer to an array of the proper type
that define stretchable region relative to each other.
The logic being slightly more complex than the border and fill logic,
it is slightly slower. If you are just defining corner on your image
for something like a button, you would still get better performance
using border. I will try to make edje_cc detect those case and fallback
to border when possible.

The first step with this API is to use the information provided when setting
the border on an image to define the content area inside it. Improvement will
be to use more flexible stretch region area to make it more customizable and
finally read the information from a 9patch file (.9.png).

Additionally, in evas_events, the event handler that was listening for

Previously, for a single canvas animation, map effect was applied in

@warn_unused in syntax is now called @no_unused - this is because
"warning about unused" is a C thing (or rather, an extension to C)
and various languages might want to use stricter behavior for this.
Its associated API does the reverse now - it lets you query whether
being unused is allowed at all. This is to match future behavior
of Eolian (once it supports versioning) that will likely reverse it.
@feature
This has been deprecated for a while and is not strictly necessary
- as a part of an effort to stabilize Eolian, remove this. Eolian

Eolian adds a per-class BETA guard (like EFL_UI_WIN_BETA) to any method tagged
as @beta. This means that any app (and the EFL code) wanting to use BETA features
has to enable them class by class, which is cumbersome.
This commit replaces the individual guards with the global EFL_BETA_API_SUPPORT
guard, so apps only need to define one symbol to access BETA features.
Any usage of the per-class guards has been removed from the EFL code and examples.
When building EFL the global guard is defined by configure, so all EFL methods
already have access to BETA API.
Efl_Core.h and Efl_Ui.h no longer define EFL_BETA_API_SUPPORT. Apps wanting to
use BETA API have to define this symbol before including any EFL header
(It has been added to the examples requiring it).

Until this commit eo did class functions as part of the vtable, which
enabled those functions to be overwritten in classes inheriting another
class. However in task T7675 we decided that this is not really good for
bindings, as most OOP languages do not support this sort of feature.
After this commit eolian realizes class function completly outside of
the vtable, the c-symbol that is the class funciton is now just directly
redirecting to a implementation, without the involvement of the vtable.
This also means a change to the syntax created by eo:
Calling before:
class_function(CLASS_A);
Calling after:
class_function();
Implementation before:
class_function(const Eo *obj, void *pd) { ... }
Implementation after:
class_function(void) { ... }

The issue solved by this commit occurs with 'export EVAS_GL_PARTIAL_DISABLE=0'.
The _efl_canvas_object_clip_set set clip->changed to true, but did not add the
clip object to e->pending_objects. So there is no chance to reset it to false.
(Please refer to evas_render_object_recalc.)
The clip->changed is always ture so its clipees cannot change its 'changed'
to true. Because if 'changed' is true, evas_object_change returns before
calling evas_object_change for its clipees. (Please see evas_object_change.)
So 'changed' of clipees is false always, and clipees cannot call render_pre
in _evas_render_phase1_direct, and eglSwapBuffersWithDamage is not called.
This caused rendering issue.
This could be rare case. The _efl_canvas_object_clip_set is called when the
clipper and its clipees are out of view.

Recently, I pushed a patch - fa1420965dd264fc8836d133a3215b94e423b8bf
not to render nodes which is invisible. This occurred a side effect
because previous vg implementations didn't take care of nodes visiblity.
It means, though vg users didn't make nodes visible but nodes were
rendered in unintended way.
This is a sort of compatibility problem but I can't let vg users
to change their nodes visible by calling visible set api explicity.
Instead, I'm gonna change the nodes visibility default value to true
so that skiping invisible nodes and compatibility issue as well.
the reason for using dependency here is that meson *sometimes* uses
dependency as a wrapper arround finding a dependency, this is usefull if
a known target is having different library names on different OSs. On
macos the cc.find_library was causing errors, since the library is not
called GL there.
This fixes the macos build.

Summary:
The map geometry(cur.map->normal_geometry) is calculated only if
evas_render_updates_internal_loop calls evas_render_mapped as below.
evas_render_mapped
-> evas_object_map_update
-> evas_object_map_update
-> _evas_map_calc_map_geometry
If the mapped object is not on screen, then evas_render_updates_internal_loop
does not call evas_render_mapped, because the mapped object is not active.
The mapped object is not active(i.e. is_active is 0) always because cache.clip
data including visilbe and geometry is not updated after the object goes out
of screen.
Usually the unmapped object updates its cache.clip data with updated geometry
even though it is out of screen as below.
_efl_canvas_object_efl_gfx_entity_position_set
-> evas_object_recalc_clippees
-> evas_object_clip_recalc
-> evas_object_clip_recalc_do
So the mapped object geometry(cur.map->normal_geometry) should be updated in
evas_object_clip_recalc_do if it is out of screen.

are done in the subdirectory that is done for header checks,
unneccessary cpu_**** flags are removed, global optimization options are
added to the global_arguments instead of just the package_c_args, which
leads to the fact that also all binaries etc. are build by default with

This also reduces the amount of options to a minimum of 1 option, to

After this point the cache->usage does not count cache_entry.w and h value when

So the cache->usage increases just around 300. If the cache->limit is 4194304,

But each items hold eina_file, and the cache does not count eina_file size.

sure proper dependencies between generated files and .eo files
are managed, to ensure consistent re-generation of all generated

For custom rules with multiple outputs, Ninja currently does not
support depfiles. Therefore, split those into two custom rules
so that the depfiles functionality can be enabled. While this

Current preloading is too buggy since it's on thread-based.
This is a fundamental improvement to fix a bug.
The critical issue here is,
When preloading img object suddenly cancel its preloading,
the object possibly cannot render image next then because
renderer doesn't have any idea when async cancelling is
finished. Renderer just tries to render regardless of
image loading status, and this could occur no-texture(in gl case)
image object.
So, here improvement is, adding a notification for async cancelled
so that putting img objects to redraw images properly after their preloading is
cancelled.
The best scenario to reproduce this bug is this one.
Evas_Object *img2 = evas_object_image_filled_add(evas);
evas_object_image_file_set(img2, "test.jpg", NULL);
evas_object_image_preload(img2, EINA_FALSE);

evas_object_resize(img, 200, 200);
evas_object_show(img);
