Summary:
Since we're now going to be shipping some eo classes as stable,
there is no point in keeping the eo api behind a macro, and it
should be enabled by default. Another case is beta classes, but
those are behind the EFL_BETA_API_SUPPORT guard.
This also changes includes around the place where things are
clearly broken (such as an included header needing something
from another header but that other header being guarded, notably
efl_ui_widget.h needing focus manager but focus manager being
behind beta in Elementary.h)

Eolian adds a per-class BETA guard (like EFL_UI_WIN_BETA) to any method tagged
as @beta. This means that any app (and the EFL code) wanting to use BETA features
has to enable them class by class, which is cumbersome.
This commit replaces the individual guards with the global EFL_BETA_API_SUPPORT
guard, so apps only need to define one symbol to access BETA features.
Any usage of the per-class guards has been removed from the EFL code and examples.
When building EFL the global guard is defined by configure, so all EFL methods
already have access to BETA API.
Efl_Core.h and Efl_Ui.h no longer define EFL_BETA_API_SUPPORT. Apps wanting to
use BETA API have to define this symbol before including any EFL header

Until this commit eo did class functions as part of the vtable, which
enabled those functions to be overwritten in classes inheriting another
class. However in task T7675 we decided that this is not really good for
bindings, as most OOP languages do not support this sort of feature.
After this commit eolian realizes class function completly outside of
the vtable, the c-symbol that is the class funciton is now just directly
redirecting to a implementation, without the involvement of the vtable.
This also means a change to the syntax created by eo:
Calling before:
class_function(CLASS_A);
Calling after:
class_function();
Implementation before:
class_function(const Eo *obj, void *pd) { ... }
Implementation after:
class_function(void) { ... }

The issue solved by this commit occurs with 'export EVAS_GL_PARTIAL_DISABLE=0'.
The _efl_canvas_object_clip_set set clip->changed to true, but did not add the
clip object to e->pending_objects. So there is no chance to reset it to false.
(Please refer to evas_render_object_recalc.)
The clip->changed is always ture so its clipees cannot change its 'changed'
to true. Because if 'changed' is true, evas_object_change returns before
calling evas_object_change for its clipees. (Please see evas_object_change.)
So 'changed' of clipees is false always, and clipees cannot call render_pre
in _evas_render_phase1_direct, and eglSwapBuffersWithDamage is not called.
This caused rendering issue.
This could be rare case. The _efl_canvas_object_clip_set is called when the
clipper and its clipees are out of view.

So far, vg shapes had been rendered regardless of its visibility.
Recently, I pushed a patch - fa1420965dd264fc8836d133a3215b94e423b8bf
not to render nodes which is invisible. This occurred a side effect
because previous vg implementations didn't take care of nodes visiblity.
It means, though vg users didn't make nodes visible but nodes were
rendered in unintended way.
This is a sort of compatibility problem but I can't let vg users
to change their nodes visible by calling visible set api explicity.
Instead, I'm gonna change the nodes visibility default value to true
so that skiping invisible nodes and compatibility issue as well.
the reason for using dependency here is that meson *sometimes* uses
dependency as a wrapper arround finding a dependency, this is usefull if
a known target is having different library names on different OSs. On
macos the cc.find_library was causing errors, since the library is not
called GL there.
This fixes the macos build.
Cleaned up the case when null parent is coming.

when invalid CLASS type is given. it's handled as well.

This implementation uses Ector_Buffer to generate mask image from vg container,

This references a file that is not being installed, so the eo

Please refer to the following comment of evas_cache2_image_open.
/* image we found doesn't match what's on disk (stat info wise)
* so dirty the active cache entry so we never find it again. this
* also implicitly guarantees that we only have 1 active copy
* of an image at a given key. we wither find it and keep re-reffing
* it or we dirty it and get it out */
The hash key is created base on the image file address.
If the image file address to find does not equal cached image file address
then it means that the cached image is no longer valid.
This case could happen with the following step.
(1) Call evas_object_image_memfile_set with content data A
(2) Call evas_object_image_memfile_set with content data B
(3) Add timer with short time (ex: 0.01 sec)
(4) Delete A image, and add A image in timer callback
(5) Delete B image, and add B image in timer callback
Sometimes you could see image of A from the B image, because newly created
image at step 5 has same address of setp 1.

If the mapped object is not on screen, then evas_render_updates_internal_loop

The mapped object is not active(i.e. is_active is 0) always because cache.clip

Usually the unmapped object updates its cache.clip data with updated geometry

it does not really matter if a obj is NULL or not when deleting a callback.
The result might be NULL anyways when the callback is not found.
Additionally, this is very verbose, and leads to the fact that most of

Current preloading is too buggy since it's on thread-based.
This is a fundamental improvement to fix a bug.
The critical issue here is,
When preloading img object suddenly cancel its preloading,
the object possibly cannot render image next then because
renderer doesn't have any idea when async cancelling is
finished. Renderer just tries to render regardless of
image loading status, and this could occur no-texture(in gl case)
image object.
So, here improvement is, adding a notification for async cancelled
so that putting img objects to redraw images properly after their preloading is
cancelled.
The best scenario to reproduce this bug is this one.
Evas_Object *img2 = evas_object_image_filled_add(evas);
evas_object_image_file_set(img2, "test.jpg", NULL);
evas_object_image_preload(img2, EINA_FALSE);

evas_object_resize(img, 200, 200);
evas_object_show(img);
evas_object_image_preload(img2, EINA_TRUE);
If you run this on gl backend, occasionally happens rendering fail.

Basically, render_pre/post should be called only if rendering happens.
Unfortunately, this behavior had been broken by some mistakes.
As far as I understand after reading history carefully,
this issue introduced for fixing unpair of pre/post cbs.
In case of async render, the post callback would be triggered in
evas_render_pipe_wakeup(), it means POST callbake shouldn't be tiggered in
evas_render_updates_internal(). If that post callback were removed in
evas_render_updates_internal(), then in case of sync_render,
POST callback won't be triggered. So previously, the PRE/POST couldn't get
paired.
I guess cedric put a mistake that nothing2rendering which brought
the pre/post pair issue, even he said that patch fix the unpair of them.
(But actually that patch brought the issue!)

To determine if a system supports SIMD instructions, the cpuid facility
should be used. However, for 15+ years EFL has been trapping SIGILL,
then attempting to execute these intstructions.
Continuing after SIGILL is explicitly undefined behaviour and can never
safely be relied upon - it is possible the CPU will respond to the
unknown instruction in an upredictable way and the program will not
continue correctly. Even if it hasn't caused problems before, there's
no reason to believe a processor released in the future won't behave
differently.
Lately we've had a couple of bug tickets where SIGILL appears to cause
problems at a system level as well, but there seems little point in
chasing those problems down as we shouldn't even be doing this in the

efl_parent_set(root_node, NULL); but Vg Object still keeps the root node
which is just a dangling pointer that occurs a crash while rendering.
efl_gfx_path itself took care of efl_gfx_shape data but its heirarchy was
conceptually wrong. Even efl_gfx_shape is mixing the efl_gfx_path...
Damend design...
Some of derived classes of efl_gfx_path (i.e. Vg.Node and Vg.Container) are
none of the Path acutally. They are just mixing Path's interpolation interface.

So, here is the first-aid, but the last patch for recovering basic vector
rendering. All vg nodes duplicated by container would be constructed without
a parent, they need to get unref() by container when container is freed.
Here code takes deal with it on the invalidation time.
Cached roots are constructed out of canvas.
Means, they have no parents, generated efl_add_ref()
which requests to call efl_unref() instead of explicit deletion.
This fixes vg to connect node tree properly on copying nodes.
Vector rendering was broken when vg cache tries to reconstruct the scene-graph
tree on copying from the original cached one. Exactly, nodes lost parents on
copying. Here it fixes the lost links of the scene-graph tree.

Technically I do not thing it is a correct behavior to force destroy

Some namespaces have been fixed (like Efl_Event_Cb -> Efl.Event_Cb).
In general, there are hundreds of changed files, but mostly to add a type which

After that, _handler_reset > _handler_clear > _ecore_main_fd_handler_del >
_ecore_main_fdh_pool_del is directly dereferencing pd->pool_data.

(2) src/lib/ecore_wayland/ecore_wl_dnd.c

And it is dereferecing t directly for wl_data_source_offer.
(3) src/lib/elementary/efl_ui_dnd.c
- Third parameter const char *data could be NULL.
In this case strlen dereferences NULL. The data should be non NULL value.

When aa is toggled on, map forcely turns alpha channel on while it draws on the surface.

Simply, it fixed the issue, new implmentation removes the alpha channel switching,
instead fill the alpha values with 255 when map + aa + alpha_off is drawing on it.

This change finally introduces deferred parsing of inherits to
Eolian, after a long time and many iterations. That means instead
of parsing inherits directly as part of the main file's parse pass,
they're pushed into a queue and parsed later. The validation engine
was modified to properly fill in the remaining info afterwards.
This may introduce breakages but I haven't noticed any. It also
properly unlocks cyclic dependency support in Eolian.
Additionally, this also introduces checks for duplicates in class
inherits (class Foo(Bar, Bar) is no longer possible) and it adds
stricter name checks, so you can no longer have a class Foo.Bar
and refer to it as Foo_Bar in implements. This was actually never
meant to be supported, but the check was previously broken.

think config.h should not be included for compilation tests. This should
make things slightly better.
A few classes allow their objects to be duplicated, so they should all

Calling this lock for no good reason result in a 2% slow down. Easy
enough to disable as we do not use evas_render2 at all. Might be
something to consider if we ever develop evas_render2 further.
There are use cases where you would want to align by a value.
The wordy alignment values are thus removed.
This commit also separates auto-modes (none, normal, locale) for
horizontal alignment to its own API.

There are multiple places in the code where both the padded item's
width and the maximum style padding (at the edges) are accounted for.
For the sake of making calculations for wrapping/ellipsis we should
only use the maximum style padding.

This updates the style pad even if there are no format nodes.
An example of this is having a default style set to the object.

Since font names can also specify styles like weight, width etc, we
should parse the font name AFTER setting the respective properties to
the font description, so it can override some if required.
This allows, for example, the following operation:
efl_text_font_weight_set(obj, EFL_TEXT_FONT_WEIGHT_NORMAL);
efl_text_font_set(obj, "Sans:Bold");

This is the 1st stage to achive that gola, first remove the evas internal dependancy as much as possible before moving to ector library.

This is the result of a really quick review of the new VG code. Most of
it was moved around, but this merge includes the following:
- Move logic from edje to evas
- Create static lib for common VG handling
- Add file_set() API
- Add a basic VG cache in evas side
- Add savers modules, implement loaders and savers.
Summary:
There is a requirement for putting text at right side for LTR and at left side for RTL.
It satisfies that reqirement easily.
It also add "start" keywork for "align" tag. "start" will be same with "auto".
Intuitionally, developer will try "align=start" if they once saw "align=end" in elsewhere.
On the other hand, it only add "END" as new enumeration value for efl interface.

Some things have clearly not been tested. Some APIs have not been
modified after repeated review comments. C++ failed to build due to
"long" being used as a namespace.
Remaining issues:
- The original finger_list API was broken by design. I didn't try to
replace it yet.
- Long tap is also broken by design: if no move happens the recognizer
gets no event, and doesn't trigger anything when the timeout is
reached. An API or event is lacking here.
- Only 2 very basic gestures have been implemented. All the gestures
from elm_gesture_layer need to be covered. None of the multi touch
support has been really implemented, except for a single bool flag.
- The configuration must be loaded from elm_config, passed on to the
recognizers.
- Some micro optimization may be required, especially if the input
device is high frequency (eg. 1KHz gaming mouse).
Efl.Animation and Efl.Canvas.Object need each other, and introduce a
cyclic dependency. Eolian doesn't complain... but C++ fails to compile,
as one header must be included before the other, and vice-versa.
Do we have other cyclic dependencies? I remember we lifted the
limitation in eolian itself, but can't remember exactly how it should be
handled...

This is modifying how a rarely used environment variable that sets the
DPI used for font sizing is parsed. The previous form remains valid, of
course. Note that EFL tends to use "scaling" instead of this DPI. The
font DPI is useful for me to open up a terminology window with almost
the same size as my IDE's code viewer.
Use case:
export EVAS_FONT_DPI=95x94 terminology
Note:
I still don't get a 1:1 match with Qt's rendering, and in fact
94x95 works better than what 95x94 (which is reported by xdpyinfo).
Interesting though :)

This makes EAPI evas_object_del() and EO API efl_del() work the same on
evas objects, i.e. a del() implies an immediate call to hide() and mark
the object as "delete_me".
If the refcount remains > 0 the object won't be actually deleted, thus
EFL_EVENT_DEL won't be triggered. I think it would probably be a good
idea to have a new event "del, request", to signal reference owners that
this object "wants" to die.

Refer to the previous commits for more context.
When an evas object is given to a container, be it with a variant of
efl_pack() or efl_content_set(), its "ownership" is given to the new
parent container. But ownership here means that the new container may
delete the child when it sees fit (i.e. when the container itself dies,
for instance). This does not mean that a reference was passed from the
calling context to the container. The actual EO owner of the child is
always the canvas or another canvas object, even if it the object is
unpacked.
Note: This means that invalid calls to efl_pack or efl_content_set will
not automatically delete the child object. This is the same as legacy,
and results in floating objects. Just check the return value! :)
Hopefully this is correct for bindings.
This comes back to an earlier situation where the fake event objects
created by efl_input_dup() had a parent (it should be the evas or maybe
the window). But that led to issues as efl_unref() would print error
messages. Using efl_allow_parent_unref_set() we hide the error message,
because in this situation we want the caller to use efl_unref() and not
efl_del() (eg. think of bindings...).
See d3436af616
See 6bed255fc4
See 96d94e0076 <-- main commit
This solves issues with efl_input_dup() which didn't properly give a
reference to the caller, resulting in dangling eo ids.
Note: This may trigger leaks (instead of invalid refs), but this now
actually reflects the meaning of @owned. This should work with bindings
and C API users should know to call efl_unref().
This patch is the reason for the previous improvements on eo_debug.

This is a new type representing a mutable string (no const).
Regular strings cannot be made mutable with @owned because
they might be hidden behind typedefs.
This is VERY tricky.
For legacy, just create an internal class that has both. It's easier
this way. For parts that are handled by Layout directly, we know from
Edje which type to return.
For EO objects we should know from the part name which kind of part we
are dealing with:
- text (overridden by the widget)
- content (overridden by the widget)
- special (new efl_part based functions)
- generic (handled by Layout)
Note: Efl.Ui.Slider was handling "span size" on ALL parts. That's bad...
This is now limited to "span" only.
This adds the 'async_layout' method.
The 'async layout' method is similar to 'size_formatted_get', but done
outside of the mainloop. When a call is made to this method, a thread
is created (after some preparation like updating the logical text
items), and the visual layout is offloaded to that thread. The result
is returned as Eina.Future.
The mainloop is blocked for operations that manipulate the object, if a
thread has already been created but hasn't complete its work.
Consecutive calls for async layout for the same object are not handled
simultaneously. Each time the threads has complete its work, the next
(if exists) layout will be dispatched.
